Studio i was conceptualized years ago by two friends and artists, Nicole Doll and Andrea Roberts, and became a reality in 2001. Upon graduation from the School of Advertising Art in Kettering, Ohio with degrees in commercial art, both were employed at local award-winning advertising agencies. Taking a leap of faith, painting on the side became a rewarding and fulfilling full-time career for each when Studio i was created. Today, while Andrea pursues the blessing of being a full-time mother, Nicole's husband, Kurt Doll, is now also her work partner. Kurt brings with him a bachelor's degree in fine art from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
